I found those images sleeping in my Evernote notebook. It brought back a nice memory of successfully purchasing a large number of iPad 2 in store for one of my friends on the first day they were available. It was a near-impossible task back then, and nothing could compete with the iPad. Everywhere you looked, they were flying off the shelf.
From the comic, you can tell how thrilled I was. I still vividly remember making this comic story in the midnight out of Lego pieces, a compact camera, and Comic Life software.
It all started with a buddy who runs a website called MacX, an online community for Mac users to discuss and share helpful tips and self-made tutorials. He most likely promised a few of his followers that he would assist them in obtaining the iPad 2 on the first day of availability.
So, in exchange for assisting him with this impossible job, he gave me a thumbs up.
